DESCRIPTION
Skidding of Condenser (Q=550T) from assembly site to the Machinery Hall in new-built Power Plant in Turów (Bogatynia). Due to high level difference between assembly site and basement of Machinery Hall (4,5m), skidding rail were supported by number of high steel supports (h=4,5m). After skidding, all skidding substructure had do be removed from underneath of Condenser. Then Condenser was jacked down abt. 1,2m and settled onto prepared foundation with tolerance of +/-1mm. For jacking operation Trend used 4 pcs. of Climbing Jacks (CLJ160) with capacity 160t each.
TREND RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
  • Design and prefabrication of grillage frame for Condenser assembly (on site in front of Machinery Hall)
  • Skidding of Condenser form assembly site to Machinery Hall. Level of assembly site was +0,00m but level of basement in Machinery Hall was -4,5m. Skidding rails inside Machinery Room were supported by steel columns h=4,5m
  • After skidding Condenser was jacked down abt. 1,2m and settled on prepared foundation columns with +/-1mm tolerance. For jacking operation Trend used 4 pcs. of Climbing Jacks of capacity 160T each.
